We have decided to run this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

  TG, thanks for your late reply last night to me thread. Never aware that I can check JL GC balance via JL website (first time on JL GC). 3 out of 4 GC are working excepting 1, need to be verified by Morrison/JL.

Is anyone having troubles using bendy to pay creation with underlying card as creation?
It’s worked fine for me for the past 6 months but I keep getting declined and the error in curve is I’ve hit my spending limit?

maybe a silly suggestion – but the Qatar offer is £100 off £500, the Etihad still shows as £250 off £500 for me.

Does anyone know whether IHG still take the direct debit if you have paid off the amount owed between the statement being generated and the DD being due ? Barclaycard are quite clear on this when you make interim payments but creation are not. thanks

        Always has and did for me. Has to clear on your account at Keats 4 working days before your DD will be taken so they can adjust.

    Oh yes they should have done that – it would have been a good compromise. I mean they sponsor England Rugby and they’ve been tweeting/Instagraming support throughout but they should have had more sense when it was against another British nation.
