We have decided to run this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

By default, HfP shows the last page of comments under the article. Using the promotion code EZR to search for London Marriott hotel night and the price is approx. £30 higher than normal search (without using EZR). Would you get £50 daily credit on this using EZR?

  EZR is the welcome back rate which is basically 25% off BFR and free breakfast, some of the luxury hotels have 50 EUR credit too but it would show in the rate detail if it did.

    It doesn’t show at all perhaps it is better not to risk it if no guarantee of 50 euro daily credit while the rate is higher comparing than no EZR being used.

      I think the only ones were The Westbury, Edition, The Wellesley and The Langley but no breakfast just a credit (I think)
      
      Some are offering 8am checkin and 8pm! Checkout that is well worth a look!

  But the 10% off weekend will be over by the time the £100 credit is available to use on Monday, so not possible to combine sadly. However Harvey Nics also has 10% off this weekend and the Amex deals are live so can be combined.
