  I wonder how today’s announcement of the miscounted positive cases and the huge increase in figures will affect other countries letting us in. Despite what Rob says Germany had already put a lot more than Wales and Northern Ireland on their high risk list of locations in the UK before the announcement. I fear the whole of the UK could be added soon.

    but yes the total increase is seeming large but what is important is the actual dates of the tests as that shows the actual progression of infection

  Hi booked an outbound flight today using 2-1 voucher. For the return element am I still able to book it online and then ring in the morning and get BA to add the original booking. Sorting out mikes refund and taxes? Thanks

    They will refund the Avios but you will be stuck with whatever taxes/fees you’ve paid.

  Has anyone managed to trigger the co-op offer yet? I did a transaction on Friday am for a gift card, then a regular food purchase today on a different card and neither have been acknowledged yet. Other recent Amex offers have triggered pretty much immediately…

    I used it successfully 3 days ago, just buying some food and wine. Money hasn’t posted yet but I got the email to say I’d triggered it immediately. This was in central London. Somebody mentioned on here that there are strange regional Coops which wouldn’t trigger it, could it be that?

    Not all co op stores are on the offer.
    Check the list of stores on the terms of the offer.
    Only around 20% of all co ops within 30 miles are listed.

    Which Co-op Society are you shopping at? There’s loads of different ones…

    Mid-Counties
    Scotmid
    Lincolnshire
    Heart of England
    East of England
    Central England
    Southern
    Co-operative Group
    & Many more…

    They all tend to go with the same branding on the outside (except Scotmid), but they are all independent. Generally speaking you can be sure that the offers work in the Co-operative Group outlets, and they might work in others.

  Just came back from Tuscany – no ones checking temps in Pisa airport either way at all. Mask wearing is sometimes on the arm and so on….
