Starwood announces ‘Take Two’ promotion for Q4

Starwood, the Westin / Sheraton / W / aloft / Luxury Collection etc hotel group, has announced its promotion for the final quarter of the year.

Called “Take Two”, it is a very simple one:

You will earn double Starpoints on every SPG stay you make between September 1st and December 15th

You will receive an extra 2,500 Starpoints for every 5th night, up to a maximum of 10,000 extra Starpoints

Unfortunately, it is not quite so straightforward in practice:

Over 150 properties have decided not to participate including three of the UK ones

You need to register your SPG account to take part

You need to register by 31st October, even though the promotion runs until 15th December

Registration is not yet available, but will be via this webpage.  I will post a reminder when the registration link is live.
