Advertising enquiries:
As the UK’s largest frequent flyer and business travel website, Head for Points offers a unique opportunity for brands to connect with an audience of affluent and highly engaged frequent travellers.
Whilst many of our advertising partners are travel businesses, we also work with fashion and lifestyle brands eager to reach our ‘London professionals’ demographic. Recent lifestyle clients include Mr Porter, Bicester Village, Chivas Regal and Jones Bootmaker.
We are the biggest UK affiliate, excluding cashback and voucher sites, for many of the brands we work with.
Offers featured on Head for Points can generate £100,000-worth of flight or hotel bookings from a single article. In May 2020, during the first coronavirus lockdown, we generated over £600,000 of sales for a heavily discounted ‘buy Avios’ promotion. An £89 Park Plaza hotel deal in London generated £154,000 of bookings from this article in March 2021 – and this excludes bookings from readers who didn’t book via our link.
We work with advertising partners to build campaigns that use engaging content and relevant advertising placements to ensure visibility to our readers. We can combine banner advertising, site sponsorship, newsletter placements, competitions and sponsored content to create packages which are guaranteed to get the attention of even casual readers.
Who is the Head for Points reader?
As our 55% daily email open rate attests, the Head for Points reader is highly engaged and proactive. Most readers are frequent business travellers or SME owners looking to keep up with the latest travel news and maximise their hard-earned loyalty miles and points.
80% of readers are UK based.
With a substantial proportion employed in finance or professional services in London, Quantcast data estimates that our readers are 6.1 times more likely to earn over £70,000 per year than a typical UK internet user. Our long-term advertisers regularly praise the ‘quality’ of customer they receive from promotion on Head for Points.
Our annual Summer and Winter parties, sponsored by leading travel brands and held at leading London hotels, attract over 500 readers. The charity raffle at our Winter 2019 event raised over £4,600 for Orbis, the ‘flying eye hospital’ charity.
Key monthly readership statistics (November 2021):
