Sajid Javid just announced that a booster dose will be needed for Covid pass in the new year.
Spent at various Hilton brands this month – Hilton / Conrad / Hampton but haven’t been allocated full bonus points on all the transactions for spend at a Hilton property. Who to contact to resolve this – Hilton Honors or Barclaycard?
Thanks
Use BA’s Chronomics link and the price reduces to £61.74 🙂 (No need to be flying BA)

You need to use the ‘quote’ button if you want to reply to someone.
That’s where things break down I think Rhys.
On Windows desktop Chrome….
It’s highly intuitive to reply to a specific post by hitting “reply” yet that’s not what happens. Reply seems to just add a new unconnected post to the bottom of the thread … which makes it illogical to have it on every post. It’s a redundant button.
You do get a proper attached reply if you hit “quote” but the issue here is that the button actually just dumps the relevant quote as a text in the “reply to” box at the bottom of the webpage (offscreen). With no hint that this has happened. It’s therefore highly non-intuitive and you can end up with several identical quotes in you reply box as you repeatedly hit “quote” thinking nothing happened.Design suggestions:
1) Remove “reply” button on individual posts altogether.
2) Retain “quote” button on individual posts but rename it as “reply”
3) When quote button is hit the webpage needs to reposition oto the reply text box.Hope that all makes sense – tried to make it clear!
Tell me about it. Even that silly daily chat was more fun. This is embarrassing in 2022.
Is anyone else feeling a bit lost today with this new forum? My head hurts trying to read and navigate it and just feels like so much useful info will be missed in all the sub groups of the sub groups of the sub groups which you could just pick up scrolling through the daily chat. I miss the good old days 🙁

My second suggestion would be:
It’s very unclear what is original post and what is reply.
The convention on the internetz is a greyed out box (and often nested boxes for replies of replies). I think it has become the convention and is used almost everywhere because it actually works really well. I suppose Flyertalk would be the most familiar example to HfPers. In this instance I think it’s fine to copy…Design suggestion: Nested and shaded boxes to contain quotes when quoting previous posts.
If BA move my flights by 10-15 minutes can I change the dates for free?

I do wish there was an option to view ‘recent posts’ rather than ‘recent topics’ – this would probably be more useful to me and quicker to glance through.
Would be great if the latest page on this daily thread opens first, similar to the daily chat page we had.

Or better yet, jump directly to the last post you’ve read in a thread like most other forums do.

Are you a first timer on an internet forum? though admittedly, some key features don’t seem to be enabled or working.
This is all a bit random in terms of implementation.
Reply seems to be a new comment in the same thread, whilst quote produces an unclear picture of original post and response.I think you should have posted this under the BA section on here….
This was in reply to NorthernLass above….I hit her Reply, but my response has ended up down here for some reason !
This is normal. We’ve de-activated nesting in the forum.
In the next few days we will merge the ‘reply’ and ‘quote’ buttons so there is only one option – to quote a reply.
May I ask the reason behind deactivating nesting?
Nothing was wrong with daily chat threads, no need for these hard to navigate forums. Classic case of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Totally agree, and not just because you’re named after my favourite shop!

Yes, me too but managed to do this so see where it ends up, just a case of adjusting to the new format I think …
BA’s Vancouver flight has changed from A350 to A380 next summer, as I’ve just had seat change notification.
Sad that I’ve not got Club Suite now, but happy I’ve been able to nab upper deck.Emailed easyJet 5 days ago regarding booking flights from their advent calendar promotion, but not received any response.
Anyone had any joy? Just as well they’re not urgent flights 🙄
If I could have got it under Andrew Js post it would make more sense ? Going to be hard to follow the thread when using quote I think…
Try 02035646335 – this is the number that deals with points transfers between members etc.

Does anyone have the Marriott Bonvoy customer service phone number in the UK?

As my previous few posts highlight – the formatting of each post box causes confusion as to which post the REPLY/QUOTE buttons belong to unless you scroll up to the top of the screen to check that these appear as a header (rather than footer) on the first post of the page…
Also, as the replies will not be nested under the original post, a notification function when someone replies to your post is really essential.
