Best used for paying Council Tax etc. if they don’t accept Amex directly

Not all co-ops are the same. Mine will take ‘debit’ cards for council tax, but not any credit cards.

Around here (Oxfordshire), Amex payments work on the “blue” co-ops but not on the “green” ones.

I can’t comment on Monzo, but Monese got very upset when I made a habit of this (despite staying within the stated limits) and closed my account.

Thank you, for the info. Yes I do, not that it’s been much use lately. I’m actually only allowed to fly with another pilot currently as didn’t keep my hours up 🤦‍♀️

It used to be possible to overpay HMRC and get refunds to bank accounts. I’m not aware of this working anymore for any personal or business tax.
