Radisson Hotels has launched a number of ‘Park, Dream and Fly’ deals for anyone travelling from Heathrow before the end of January 2022.

One of the secrets of Heathrow parking, or indeed at many other UK airports, is that booking a hotel for one night with inclusive parking can often be cheaper than booking parking on its own.

You might not need a hotel if you set off from home at the crack of dawn, or earlier, but if you can get a decent hotel thrown in for what you’d pay for parking alone, what’s not to like?

If you definitely need a hotel, booking a package is very likely to be cheaper than booking a hotel and parking separately.

Radisson is offering some very aggressive packages, with the cost of parking being very low compared to the stand alone room rate.

Radisson has good deals at its two new Heathrow hotels

If you’ve not been to Heathrow for a while, you may not know that Radisson was hard at work during the covid lockdowns. It undertook a full and total refurbishment of what was the 895 bedroom Park Inn hotel and conference centre.

(To help you picture it, this is the hotel which is directly opposite the huge model Emirates aircraft which you pass as you enter the tunnel to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3.)

Radisson Heathrow parking packages

Whilst looking the same from the outside, it has been transformed from the inside. It now comprises two hotels:

  • a design-led Radisson RED, with 258 rooms (see image above) and
  • a more functional Radisson with 637 rooms (see image below)

Whether you go for the funkier Radisson RED wing or the more traditional Radisson wing, both hotels share the same reception, restaurant, bar, gym and swimming pool. (Yes, there is a pool!)

‘Park, Dream and Fly’ packages are now available

The two hotels have launched special offers on their ‘Park, Dream and Fly’ packages for anyone travelling before 31st January 2022.

All packages comes with free cancellation and you pay at check-out.

There are three pricing bands:

  • One night stay plus 1-4 days of parking
  • One night stay plus 5-8 days of parking
  • One night stay plus 9-15 days of parking

How cheap are these deals?

Here is an example for an overnight stay at the Radisson on 14th December 2021. These are the rates for members of Radisson Rewards, which any sensible HfP reader will already have joined (and if not, it’s free to sign up).

Radisson:

  • Room only (non refundable): £97
  • Room only (cancellable): £103
  • Room (cancellable) with 1-4 nights parking: £136
  • Room (cancellable) with 5-8 nights parking: £150
  • Room (cancellable) with 9-15 nights parking: £165

Radisson RED:

  • Room only (non refundable): £117
  • Room only (cancellable): £130
  • Room (cancellable) with 1-4 nights parking: £163
  • Room (cancellable) with 5-8 nights parking: £178
  • Room (cancellable) with 9-15 nights parking: £210

How to book

There are two ways of booking. You need to check pricing separately for the Radisson (website here) and Radisson RED (website here) even though they share the same building and facilities.

You can either:

Remember to only search for one night and not for the full length of your parking.

This offer is not available for every night until 31st January. The dedicated deals pages linked above have the benefit of showing you a calendar. If you get a message about a minimum stay requirement, ignore it and use the main booking page along with the EPPARK1 code. January availability is better than December.

Don’t forget to use promo code EPPARK1 when searching.

PS. ‘Park, Dream and Fly’ is available at other Radisson hotels too. In the UK, you can get similar deals at airport hotels at Stansted, East Midlands and Manchester. The Radisson home page is here.

Any news on the re-opening of the NCP Flightpath car park adjacent to the Radisson?

One of my previous companies used to have their xmas parties here, in January when it was cheaper! It also doubled as an annual kick off meeting.

Fond memories of people leaving the presentations to come back from the bar with pints, the ladies leaving early from the last meetings to go spend the next 4 hours preparing for the black tie dinner dance, only to look totally dishevelled by the time desert was served.

The best bit was breakfast the next morning wondering who had done the walk of shame and for what poor employee the “curse of conference” had befallen. Inevitably, there was always some aspiring employee that would happily retire for the evening with the chairman to his room. Six months later these people would no longer be in the employee of the company – even less for one vocal recipient of the chairman’s attention that was name dropping him at every opportunity. HR had a special fund for these cases!

Every time I go past it, I get all those memories coming back. And more. That company was a shocker – and it wasn’t even a fast paced money type company where you expect those sort of events!

Was this the Edwardian, we used to go there in February to save money. Notorious for the call centre staff telling the head of sales how he was a ******* for misselling to the clients.

Website is very misleading (or borked) – when I looked the 4/8/15 days all have the same price “GBP 112.50 – per night – Includes taxes & fees” but clicking Select shows as “145.20” + “29.05 tax”

    • Rob says:

Borked for Radisson but not RED weirdly. Correct price shows when you click through.
