  I’m landing tomorrow at 6am. PLF with LFT code has already been filed with gov.uk, not looking forward to that conversation if they insist on a PCR. Anyone know the latest?

          Hi Polly, early check in is suspended, so am chilling at a cafe overlooking the Jewel waterfall. Will probably try to hit the Qantas Lounge for a shower before the 00:10 flight.

    UK PLF site now says (after clicking “start now”

    IMPORTANT MESSAGE
    From 04:00 Tuesday 30 November 2021 testing and isolation requirements will change for all arrivals into the UK.

    If you are arriving into the UK after 04:00 Tuesday 30 November 2021 then please return to complete your Passenger Locator Form after 04:00 Monday 29 November as the system is currently being updated.

    If you are arriving into the UK before 04:00 Tuesday 30 November 2021 please continue to complete your Passenger Locator Form now.

    After 04:00 Tuesday 30 November 2021 lateral flow tests will no longer be accepted and all travellers arriving into UK will be required to book and take COVID-19 PCR tests.

    Yes our flights from last Saturday posted on Wednesday, so a few extra days. Also our upgrade to CE with Avios also posted as 40tp. Never seen that before, hopefully a new bug we should stay quiet about! Shhhh.

  Continuing a late-last-night thread (thanks Travel Strong) – I checked my Nectar account too, received the 10000 points on 26 Nov, most of my £400 spend was fuel and that counted (I think fuel may have been excluded in T&Cs but I’m not the family shopper so couldn’t spend £400 in Sainsbury’s any other way!)

      Transfers seem down. I had to re-link to transfer Avios to Nectar on Wednesday, which works. If I try today it says online transfer from Avios to Nectar is not available.

  Hi – Have a BAH fully paid and booked for this Thursday to Tenerife – if we do not wish to travel due to concerns over the new variant and restrictions do we have the option of taking a FTV ? Thanks

    Have a look at the Ts and Cs, also you could try a dummy cancellation via the BA home page which will indicate whether you would be entitled to a FTV.

  Morning, just wanted to double check there isn’t an open lounge for BA customers at Paris CDG? Seems the Cathay Pacific one is shut and no other alternative, but just wanted to check. Thanks in advance.

    Unfortunately you are correct. The American Airlines lounge, which is usually the other alternative, is also still closed.
