Radisson Hotels has launched its Cyber Sale this week and is offering up to 30% off eligible stays booked between now and 29th November. The discount is only available for weekend stays, but there’s no minimum stay length.
Breakfast is included with any Cyber Sale booking, so you could find yourself with a rather nice minibreak to look forward to in the rest of 2021 or into 2022.
You will also receive 1,000 bonus Radisson Rewards points per sale booking.

‘Weekend Stays’ are defined as Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for participating hotels in Europe and Africa. For eligible hotels in the Middle East, ‘Weekend Stays’ are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Full details of the Cyber Sale terms and conditions can be found here.
To unlock the full 30% discount, you’ll need to be a member (sign up for free, details below) of Radisson’s loyalty programme, Radisson Rewards. Non-members only get 10% off in the sale, so it is worth joining the programme for this sale alone.
Make sure you are logged into your Radisson Rewards account when you book during the Cyber Sale to ensure you get your 30% member discount.

Joining Radisson Rewards
It is free to join Radisson Rewards – follow this link to the member sign-up page.
The programme offers some attractive benefits including a high earnings rate (starting at 20 points per $1 spent, plus any status bonus). Radisson is also one of the strongest American Express Membership Rewards hotel partners, offering good redemption value if you convert Membership Rewards to Radisson Rewards due to the generous 1:3 conversion rate. You can read our full analysis of the Amex / Radisson partnership here.
One feature we particularly like about Radisson Rewards is ‘premium rewards’. This allows hotels to offer superior rooms for redemption at a fixed premium over a standard room.
Where can you find Radisson hotels?
Radisson has approximately 1,400 hotels worldwide but have the strongest presence in Europe, particularly in Scandinavia and Germany.
In the UK, there are six Radisson brands operating: upscale Radisson Blu (including sub-brand Radisson Blu Edwardian), budget brand Park Inn, The Radisson Collection, ‘upper-upscale’ Park Plaza, Radisson RED and the relatively new Radisson Individuals.
Recent openings which have raised our interest include:
- Palazzo Nani Venice, a Radisson Collection hotel (article here)
- Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini (article here)
- Radisson Blu Resort Maldives (article here)
- the new Radisson, Heathrow
- the new Radisson RED, Heathrow

Conclusion
With a good range of hotels in both the UK and throughout Europe, the Cyber Sale could get you an attractive weekend getaway.
If nothing else, you might be able to lock in a deal at Heathrow before your next holiday flight, or a room for any weddings or other weekend functions you have in your diary for 2022.
1,000 bonus Radisson Rewards points per booking won’t hurt either!
You can find full details of the offer, and how to book, on the Radisson website here.
PS. If you stay before 19th December 2021 you can also take advantage of Radisson’s current double points promotion which we wrote about here. You must register before booking via this link.
How to earn Radisson Rewards points and status from UK credit cards (December 2021)
Radisson Rewards does not have a dedicated UK credit card. However, you can earn Radisson Rewards points by converting Membership Rewards points earned from selected UK American Express cards. These include:
- American Express Preferred Rewards Gold (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 20,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 60,000 Radisson Rewards points. This card is FREE for your first year and also comes with two free airport lounge passes.
- The Platinum Card from American Express (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 30,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 90,000 Radisson Rewards points
- American Express Rewards credit card (review here, apply here) – sign-up bonus of 5,000 Membership Rewards points converts into 15,000 Radisson Rewards points. This card is FREE for life.
Membership Rewards points convert at 1:3 into Radisson Rewards points which is a very attractive rate. The cards above all earn 1 Membership Rewards point per £1 spent on your card, which converts to 3 Radisson Rewards points.
Even better, holders of The Platinum Card receive free Radisson Rewards Gold status for as long as they hold the card. It also comes with Hilton Honors Gold, Marriott Bonvoy Gold and MeliaRewards Gold status. We reviewed American Express Platinum in detail here.
