We are running this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions.  With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article.  This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

    Anyone receive their Hotel.com clubcard points?

    My 14week wait has elapsed and no sign. Tired clubcard bank on number they provided on the promotion Ts&Cs but ultimately after a few calls they can’t help and told me to take it up with Hotel.com.

    Bit of a follow up but I was chatting to someone about MR to Raddison Rewards on here last week. Got them to add it/connect them on the chat and a week later it is now all set up. Just done the transfer and it says it will be another 10 days

    I mentioned a few days back about my son and his missing/delayed bag on Easy Jet (back last Monday from Tenerife) He has just WhatsApp me…’Case now at Gatwick, they cannot give a delivery update..to West Kensington….please collect from Gatwick ‘.
    I guess that’s pretty typical this day and age.

      Easyjet delay for my suitcase about 3 weeks ago, received by Edi airport yesterday, they refused to ship to here also, I have to drive to the airport and collect it, good job easyjet!

    Need to go to Morocco from the UK. Travel restrictions mean I have to arrive via a third country (not including Germany or the Netherlands). My brain is telling me AF via CDG or IB/FR via MAD. Route recommendations welcome, though, if anyone has any? Similarly, hotel recommendations for Rabat welcome – eyeing up the Sofitel.

      Flight to Gibraltar … ferry to Tanger … drive to Rabat?

      Have you read the legislation carefully on what the ban constitutes ? Do you need to have been outside of those 3 countries for 14 days for example or simply can’t fly direct.

      I did that coming back a couple of years ago and it was pretty smooth going.

      Do a formal complaint to Mastercard too – if you used your Cuve Mastercard with the Creation Card.

      Simply using one card licensed by Masercard, in line with the terms and conditions of that card, has resulted in your account with another licensed Mastercard issuer being withdrawn.

          You can complain to anyone about anything. One of the neighbours to my old office used to complain that the trees in the office garden used to wake her up by talking to her at night. We had one woman used to come in to complain by smearing her own “evacuations” around the office if one of my colleagues parked on her street.

          MasterCard advertise directly to the UK public, why shouldn’t someone complain to them if their poor controls and licensing decisions result in account closures?

    Question on having more than one Amex (just been approved for Accelerating Business). Do you create a second online account to get more offers, or do you put them in the same account?

    Tried to log in to my Raddison Rewards account but the website does not let me in (puts me back to the Raddison home page). Tried IE, Chrome, incognito mode… Is it only me or there is something wrong with the website?
