    You wouldn’t get the sign-up bonus on the business card though if you already hold a MR card (business or personal) or had one within the past 6 months.

  Having problems changing a BA Avios booking.
  Flight is on Iberia direct MAN-MAD 30K avios for 2. April 4th 2021
  Booked online BAEC 7 hour time change. I want to move the booking to 31 March 2022 (no Avios availability hence wanting to move instead of cancelling and rebooking)
  I have been offered a 2 day plus or minus from original date or refund , no date change.
  Question is am I allowed a free change, do I need to call BAEC or revenue bookings each tell me I should call the other. 03444930787 tell me to call 08444930747 and vice versa.
  Over 7 hours of calls so far and as I am typing this another 1hr 11 min call has dropped, FFS. Anyone have a number for his type of booking.
  3 bookings cancelled with Iberia yesterday in 24 mins.

    Seems like it is -3 / +14 to use revenue seats for a cancelled IB flight. You’ve got no EU right to travel earlier either. So I think BA are right here unfortunately – https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/traveltrade/bookings-policies/policies/standard-customer-guidelines#cancellations

    I think I am wrong. I thought I could move the booking forward because of the time change. A lightbulb has just lit up and I have confused this with a cancelled flight. I will call and cancel.

      On a brighter note I was able to use the expiring Lloyds Voucher to book MAN-LHR BGI for December 8th and when ticketed it’s the club suite 777. Still 5 CW seats available with Avios. Have Virgin PE for the return on Jan 9th and have seat spy alerts for BA CW and VS upper for 9th to 15th Jan.

  Thinking of a Business class return flight to OZ next year (April)

  Are there still bargains to be had Ex -EU?

  Not too fussed about the airline at the moment.

  If so, could anyone give me a few countries to look at?

      Ah yes, £1200 Oslo to Sydney with QR and bagging 600 tier points while you’re at it (excluding positioning flights). Let’s hope those days return.

  Yesterday BA chat insistent that my flights to NYC cancelled by BA for this week, had to be rebooked/outbound flown within 12 months of booking – namely by Jan 2022. I ended the call as that short date/inflexibility not going to work.

    I’m in a similar situation – actually what I want is to move my flights as-is for marathon weekend next year. The flights were cancelled and they ‘rebooked’ me onto a diff flight number.

    I haven’t accepted the rebooking obviously- I’d ideally let them know I don’t accept the rebook out of courtesy but don’t see a way of doing that without involving endless time in the phone?

      Took me about 45 mins using online chat. Told BA as a courtesy they needed to offload me from the inbound flight as BA had not got me to NYC – got fed up of all the emails welcoming me on board . Thanks to the contributors here I new the assistant was incorrect when he told me I would need to take a voucher if I couldn’t supply him with new dates there and then to fly before Jan 2022. I am sitting tight until the seats available to rebook for the same week next year.

  If using a Lloyds voucher this weekend, check the tax on BA.com first. Avios tried to charge me £200 more than the figure BA.com quoted. I queried this, and after several mins on hold, they said they “were out of sync with BA”, but did honour the lower price. Had I not checked before calling, I would have just paid.
  Also, give your phone number as soon as they answer. The call automatically disconnected after 1 hour, but they phoned back.

  For entry into the USA if you take a rapid antigen test before leaving the U.K. , can I get it done by collision at the drive through centre , will this be accepted as I read somewhere that they want the test supervised (words that affect)

  Also does virgin every have the new suite in upper class to Las Vegas or is it always the 787 on the route with the older seats

    Collinson drive through they swab you while in your car. I used for Jamaica. 32 pound at Stansted. With code stantest. There is a code for every airport to get 20 percent off.

    This is fine to do. What you can’t do is the do at home with no video one, sending a photo in type test – like you can do for day 2. So it’s either an in person one or it’s via video supervision that’s required.

    Yes the collinson drive thru rapid test is accepted. As is the express test rapid antigen test at the LHR terminals
