  Hoping to fly to Frankfurt for a weekend in a couple of weeks on one of the A380 flights – is the JAL lounge the only one available for BA passengers as the opening hours are pretty useless?
  If so is it worth asking for some avios as compensation or is that a non starter?

  I have a companion flight booked on swiss that has had all but the initial lhr-zrh flight cancelled, the original booking was lhr-zrh-bom in first and bom-zrh-lhr in business.

  I do want to travel so am going to ask for a rebooking, but as its cancelled, would I be able to change the dates of the rebooking to travel out on the same date but return a week later than originally booked?

  Additionally, there is currently a lufthansa flight operating the same day but its lhr-fra-del-bom and takes 18 hours (and theres no first), theres also a lhr-fra-bom the day before but again theres no first, if they offer to rebook on that would I be entitled to anything for the downgrade (ie the 75% refund) or would that not apply as it would be switching from swiss to lufthansa, even tho theyre the same company?

  Lastly! If I need to mcol them, would I be able to book a Virgin LHR-BOM (~£1500) flight that was just in business and claim for that rather than having to book a ticket in the same split class as originally booked, as the only options with a first cabin is emirates, and while Id like to fly that I dont really want to have to spend £7,000 on 2 tickets while waiting for mcol 🙂

    Minor addition to the above, the flights were booked through lufthansa on swiss metal, was thinking it was booked via swiss, but after calling them they said it needs to be rebooked by lufthansa
