British Airways launches a new flight and holiday sale to the US

We still don’t know when the US will re-open – is ‘November’ still happening? – and whether the paperwork required and potential immigration meltdowns will make a trip worthwhile or not.
British Airways is looking on the bright side, however, and has launched a new United States sale.
The sale cover BA Holidays – see here – and flight-only – see here.

Headline flight prices include, in Economy, New York from £320, Boston and Orlando from £330, Miami and Los Angeles from £340 and Tampa from £294.
Return Club World flights are available from £1,499 for Boston and £1,599 for New York. However, I would look at BA Holidays if this is your plan as it is not unknown for a ‘flight and hotel’ package to work out cheaper than the flight on its own.
For example, BA Holidays has four nights at the 4* DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West from £1,619 per person. This is just £20 more than the flight on its own.
The sale also includes other popular destinations including Canada, Dubai, Jamaica and Antigua.
The sale runs from 14th to 27th October for travel up to Summer 2022.
The sale stacks with other BA Holidays promotions
The BA Holidays ‘VIP airport offer’ is still running for holidays taken by 31st March 2022.
If you spend £1,500 per person on a 5+ night holiday, you will receive Galleries Club lounge access at Heathrow Terminal 5, and well as other fast track and priority benefits. If you spend £2,500 per person and fly in Business Class, you will receive Galleries First access in Terminal 5.
The ‘double tier points’ offer is still running too. All flights taken as part of a BA Holidays package will earn double Executive Club tier points, as long as:
- you travel by 22nd March 2022, and
- you book at least five nights of hotel accommodation
‘Book With Confidence’ continues, allowing you to cancel your flight or holiday booking – no excuse needed – for a voucher.
