  Are you supposed to be able to fund the revolution directly with creation?

  I have just tried it (hadnt used creation as a source for a cpl of years after theyd given a warning, have used bank xfer sources tho) and creation topup is being rejected everytime.

  Same thing is happening if I try to feed the seagulls or ernie using balance on che card?

    yes it works on your first point, seagull also works for me but some people report it does not work.

      I just generated a new che virtual card and was issued a mastercard (previous one was visa) and now it can feed the seagulls, tho its still not liking being creative.

  Hello I received an email from Qatar about getting a 20% bonus of Qmiles if I convert my Amex reward points by early November. However, I can’t see a way of doing a direct conversion on my Amex rewards account page (based in the UK). Does anyone know a way of doing it? Perhaps I’ve missed something

    You can’t.

    It was probably a bulk Qatar email which didn’t bother checking which country’s MR scheme you would be part of.

      I wish something could be done about all the misleading promotions / deals that Qatar put out, some of which are borderline lies.

  Is there a way of getting statements from cancelled Amex cards? BA have said a flight didn’t ticket because the payment didn’t go through and I need to check my Mothers cancelled cards.

    They’re available online as long as you didn’t delete the card. Otherwise she’d have to phone.

  Flying to Sicily tomorrow with BA in CE. Any way of speeding up any part of the process at either end? Online check in currently down. PCR tests negative / double vaxd. Ta,

    is PCR the only way to get into Italy? i had the impression you can use the rapid certified one as well (ie. the fit to fly we used to take before getting back to UK).

      You can do either according to the website. Was just easier to sort the pcr’s where we live.

        Thanks, i have just seen that Stansted covid testing facilities have competitive prices though, with £32 Collinson antigen within the hour. Not bad if you don’t have the time to get it delivered at home or are on the move etc, same for PCR, just slightly more expensive than the home delivery ones.

  to anyone who currently has a Virgin card. Previously when i had the card I could only clear the balance using my Curve card if i call up. And even then, it was a £750 per day limit when calling up. Has this been changed? that was the reason I closed it off in the past, too much time and trouble clearing the balance.

    I can confirm you can pay your entire balance off using a debit card on their app! never called so not sure about that!

    Alternatively, you can set up a DD and never have to think about it!?

    have not been able to pay off V balance via curve for a few months now. I have stopped trying a while back.

        it was on the website. it rejected the 16 digit number, hadnt even reached Curve at that point.

        My fronted has been on for over a year, I have an iphone and update my apps regularly.

        I’m too worried about shut down to use my curve card anymore. So can’t test it for you.

        I’ve got Curve metal, probably will apply for the premium then. Sounds like it should be ok. Am i right in thinking you cant “recycle” your credit limit in a billing period for extra points?

    UK banks and other FX cos will nearly all not let you, because of the threat of US sanctions. PayPal probably falls into this group, unless the person receiving the money can disguise the fact their PayPal a/c is in Iran, eg with VPN.
