  I’m looking at changing my Melia hotel reservation for The Palacio Santa Clara, Autograph Collection in Valencia for next week. I have a very good deal using points for the Melia but I fancy getting into the Palacio now instead as the points redemption looks better. The rooftop bar is very appealling too.

  I know that this has been mentioned but I can’t find it, nor is google helping, but what exactly does the day 2 reference look like? Is it 5 letters and 7 numbers??

  A friend is coming in from USA and has booked a test with London Doctors Clinic but they haven’t sent her a code, other than a XXXX-XXXX-XXXX reference all letters which doesn’t fit in the PLF ??

  Any thoughts?

  If I book a return with avios can I cancel the return leg if I need to and get avios back? Going on half term hols to Mexico or somewhere but need to be in States early Nov so may stay out so I can get into States.

    I haven’t actually been into the office either – this has all been done from random locations. The Red List one was done sat on the fire exit of a pub in the West End!

  Che’s little competitor is “enhancing” its basic package; no FX-free transactions. Have I missed a thread about this? Or have you all already been banned cause of Amex top-ups?
