American Express recently launched a generous cashback offer with WorldHotels.
If you haven’t heard of WorldHotels, it is a marketing group – rather like Preferred Hotels or Leading Hotels of the World – which lets hotels remain fully independent but share a common marketing platform.
Assuming that your American Express card is targetted and that you register, you will receive £100 cashback when you spend £250 at a participating WorldHotels property.

The offer ends on 30th November. There are participating hotels across Europe – the full list is here (PDF).
What I forgot to mention when we first covered this is that WorldHotels is a Virgin Flying Club partner.
You would normally earn 500 Virgin Points per stay as you can see here.
However, for all stays until 31st March 2022, this is doubled to 1,000 Virgin Points per stay. Details are on the WorldHotels website here.
Combine this offer with the £100 American Express cashback and you have an attractive deal.
