Just a quick note to say that our very own Rhys Jones has another ‘Special Report’ in The Sunday Times today, taking up two full pages of the Travel section.

The article looks at how each of the major airlines operating in the UK has weathered the pandemic, along with their plans for the future.

It is behind a paywall, although if you put the headline into Google you might find a pirated version of it somewhere ….

The online version if you have The Sunday Times access (free to Amex Business Platinum cardholders of course!) is here.

Little typo. It should be weathered the pandemic, not whethered the pandemic.

  • CarpalTravel says:

Nice one Rhys! 👍Will have a read shortly.

  • HH says:

    #proud 😉

  • David says:

Also accessible via Apple News+ if you have a subscription.

    • Rob says:

How much of a fail is Apple News?! Our latest ad payment was £1.39. We actually lose money putting HfP on it because we are forced to pay for an Apple Developer Licence!

      • Jon says:

It’s bundles with an Apple One subscription, individually less than a Times subscription, and has more newspapers than Readly (fewer magazines mind). So not so much for the end user it seems

      • CarpalTravel says:

Guess on that basis, it ins’t a fail for Apple, which is all they ever care about. $$$
News+ and ATV+, they can barely give them away…

  • Polly says:

Great read Rhys… very detailed. Well written.
    Anna, love the comment…

    • David says:

      Well done Rhys:
It takes a pretty good journalist to offset “BA pulls out of LGW short-haul” with a story as big as (wow!) “BA starts service to the Azores”
