Virgin Atlantic has extended its current Caribbean sale to 21st September, which is good news as we didn’t manage to squeeze it in last week.

The headline deals are to Antigua and Barbados. Antigua (from Heathrow) and Barbados (from Heathrow or Manchester) are as low as:

  • £349 in Economy
  • £599 in Premium Economy
  • £1,399 in Upper Class

Economy and Premium Economy deals run to 12th October. Upper Class deals run to either 30th September or 30th October, depending on which press release you read …. I am guessing 30th September to protect revenue over October half term.

‘Flight & Hotel’ deals are also available. These earn a bonus 2 Virgin Points per £1 you spend, on top of the miles from your flights.

Flight deals can be booked here. ‘Flight & Hotel’ deals can be found here, and it is also worth looking at Virgin Holidays pricing here.

Smaller discounts are available on Virgin’s other Caribbean routes.

If you were considering Jamaica, note that it has been moved to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s ‘do not travel’ list due to the current level of covid cases.

Even though it remains on the Amber List for quarantine reasons, most travel insurance will no longer cover you. We looked at insurance policies which can fill the gap, such as battleface, in this article.
