The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

Why is that anytime there is a major sporting event in this country, that the tattooed freak Beckham has to attend. This England team doesn’t need his presence, validation or blessing, his time with the England team finished in 2009 and was an utter failure, I guess his need to stay relevant is keenly felt.

    @HH, here’s an insight universally useful on social media
    
    Observation 1: Denigrating a personality despite having no reasonable grounds to criticise their actions (which charitably contribute to the Common Good, in fact)
    
    Observation 2: A posting history that suggests that the velocipedist who calls out a keen need to remain relevant doth protest too much
    
    Conclusion: Deny oxygen and move on without a word

        Yup. I envy the well renowned British talent for coming up with clever nommes des plumes, partly because I lack such witty imagination myself. So I don’t bother trying to emulate. Also there’s nothing exciting about myself that warrants concealing.

@the cyclist. I’m pretty sure Beckham has achieved a lot more than you have. Multiple leagues and a European cup too. Grow up
