News in brief:
Two UK lounges reopen to British Airways passengers
On Thursday we published an article looking at which British Airways lounges are open, which are closed and which have been permanently shuttered and ripped out.
By coincidence, two of the lounges on the list have now started to re-admit British Airways passengers after the airline decided to pay up.
Effective immediately, you can enter the lounges at Jersey (which has some BA branding but is actually independent) and Belfast City (recently taken over by Aspire, pictured below) again. You need to be flying in British Airways Club Europe or have relevant British Airways or oneworld status.
Our review of the airport lounge in Jersey is here. Our coverage of the original opening of the British Airways lounge at Belfast City is here – but it is now merged with the Aspire lounge at Belfast City reviewed here and which is next door.
