  Just double checking. Think the answer is yes…

  We’re flying to mainland Portugal on 5th June. Wife has had both her jabs for a couple of months now. Does she still need to have a negative pcr test to enter Portugal despite having the NHS vaccine passport?

  Know there are plans for the vaccine passports to negate the need for the negative test but am I right in thinking that isn’t yet approved and won’t be for a little while?

    Yup Portugal requires a test regardless of vaccine status. Spain requires no test from Monday, vaccine status is also irrelevant.

    The plans for an EU Covid certificate would come in force July 1st but currently excludes 3rd countries like U.K etc

  I posed a question a couple of days ago relating to my Curve Black card of 5 years being replaced with the blue version this week asking if anyone was in the same situation. For those who wanted to hear the reply from Curve- @Craig, @Youllnever, Curve responded to my query today with this:
  “Although your original card was Black in colour, it was on our free Curve Blue programme. For a brief period of time the design was changed so that we were issuing Black cards for the free programme, this has since changed so that Blue is free and Black is charged for.”
  I thought I had the Black account but they say no and I’ve no idea of how to verify.

      Thanks Craig et al. I’m in the unfortunate position of having the memory of a goldfish and have no way of checking what I signed up for.
      All I remember is shouting for it on the back of a HfP article when it first came out and as there’s no paper anything am stuck. I definitely do not remember getting a TUMI (????) wallet though. I did have in my mind paying a £35 one of fee but even that isn’t definite. 😏

        There was £35 basic card and a £75 premium card when Curve launched, Rob recommended the cheaper one at the time. The £50 special offer for a premium product which became legacy black came later. Sounds like you did sign up for the blue card?

        I’d try searching in your email account looking at correspondence to Curve and see if you applied for the card. I definitely did and have the chat records for it.

        That’s only because I’m checking HFP at 10pm rather than being on holiday! The wind and the rain is reminding me why we go on holiday in the first place.

    This is correct. Was reported by commenters on here their early cards were black even though they had the basic account

    I don’t even think Curve Black has existed as a separate product for 5 years anyway.
