Race against McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris with Hilton

The options to use your hotel and airline points for ‘experience’ packages has been thin on the ground recently, with latest lockdown measures putting an end to large sporting events and concerts.

Hilton Honors Experiences launched something which can be done from home.  After a successful run last year, it is repeating the opportunity to race 20-year old British Formula 1 driver Lando Norris for 25,000 Hilton Honors points. Virtually.

It is a two-part event. There is a 60-minute practice session with McLaren esports academy drivers on Monday 19th April at 7pm, followed by the race and Q&A session with Lando on Thursday 22nd April at 6:45pm.

You need the Codemasters F1 2020 game for PC to take part:

“Open to PC/Steam platform only. Requires a PC and a copy of Codemasters F1 2020 game to enter. Recommended that participants use a wheel and pedal set compatible with the F1 2020 game and PC platform to participate. Standard controllers also usable however less optimal to benefit from McLaren Shadow training session. All assists and drivers’ levels will be accommodated.”

The Virgin Atlantic cards are the only Visa or Mastercard products in the UK which can indirectly earn Hilton Honors points. You can apply here.
