BACK: BA Club World crockery and linens being sold on eBay – and get 5.6 Avios per £1 spent

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

It’s back. After the big British Airways sell-off of First Class crockery and other items before Christmas, a sale of Club World products has turned up on eBay by a company called ‘goodie.direct’.

You can see the 78 listings by clicking here.

The listings were taken down for three days whilst the company tried to clear the backlog of orders after our article on Sunday. They are now back and you can order again. People who ordered on Sunday have already started receiving their items and everything seems to be arriving well packaged and in one piece.

Pricing is very competitive compared to store prices so you are not necessarily overpaying for the British Airways association.

For example:

  • 24 piece crockery set for £42.50 (picture above) – click here
  • 10 ramekins / dessert bows (5 glass, 5 porcelain) for £21.95 – click here
  • 9 piece set of 3 long plates and 6 William Edwards mini bowls for £29.50 – click here
  • 8 x The White Company pillow cases for £18.95 – click here

With 78 different lots, and multiple quantities of most lots, you should find something to interest you. I wouldn’t hang about too long if you see something you like.

Get 9 Nectar points (5.6 Avios) per £1

On Thursday morning, eBay launched a new Nectar promotion.

You will receive 9x points per £1 for purchases over £15 made by 31st March. This will convert into 5.625 Avios per £1.

The banner may say ‘9x bonus points’, implying 10 points per £1 in total, but if you place an order you will see that it doesn’t work like that ….

You MUST register in advance via the eBay home page here. You will see a link in the rotating banner at the top or as a fixed link halfway down.

Details of how to link your Nectar card to your eBay account are on this eBay page.

Conclusion

You can see the full set of British Airways listings on eBay here. Happy hunting.

  • Paul says:

Hope everyone has their First Class crockery ready for next week…

  • Andrew says:

For clarity on the eBay promotion – it’s only 9x points, not 10x, the wording by eBay of all these offers suggests 10x but the reality is 9x – if you do a test transaction Rob and take to the basket and proceed to checkout, the stage just before committing to buy, it shows the nectar total at the bottom of the page which is 9x.

  • Will A says:

It’s 9x points. Wording of eBay’s offer is unclear – but it’s definitely 9x – so you get 9 points per £1 spend.
