We are running this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

  He’s more than welcome to contribute if he has something decent to say. The reason we removed him was because he was trolling and posting extremely inappropriate stuff. It got out of hand during the first lockdown and we had to ban him.

Sure this has been asked numerous times so apologies in advance.

Had some RFS flights cancelled (think they moved us onto different BA flights to same destination – time/day/airport changes).

These flights are April/May so we won’t be able to go.

What are our options? Are we able to get the flights moves to any date in the future? Does there need to be avios availability? Is it better to just get a refund?

TGLoyalty – you are right about the opening of the W in the earlier comments. I’ve no idea where my head was at when I bashed that out. I think maybe mixing it up with the old W in Al Habtoor City where I had stayed several years ago before moving here.
