BA Club World crockery and linens being sold on eBay

After the big British Airways sell-off of First Class crockery and other items before Christmas, a sale of Club World products has turned up on eBay by a company called ‘goodie.direct’.

Pricing is very competitive compared to store prices so you are not necessarily overpaying for the British Airways association.

  I can only imagine that the warehouse stocks are so huge that someone has worked out that it makes sense to free up space rather than wait 2-3 years to use it up at the current rate of use.

  I imagine there is a high amount of wastage and they have a contract for regular supply. With the lack of flights wastage is down and a mountain is growing.

    Exactly this. Same with the First sale a few months ago. Airlines around the world are doing the same – most selling it to staff; SQ doing the dine at home thing where you get sent the food to reheat and the crockery (to keep).

      There does seem to be quite a few still for sale, with the white ones commanding a premium.
      The eye masks in the White Company CW kits, while not as good as the Liberty era F ones, are still a marked improvement from previous CW issues.
      I’ve bought the kits mainly for the masks in the past, and stocked up with again with this tranche.

  Although those Liberty bags are quite a few years old now so the products inside might have seen better days. Although the bags are nice, much better than the Temperley ones now.

    I gave mine to my Mum from my only ever First Class flight 2 years ago. Managed to snaffle another one for my aunt as well. They are not matched by the Temperley ones.
