BA Club World crockery and linens being sold on eBay

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

After the big British Airways sell-off of First Class crockery and other items before Christmas, a sale of Club World products has turned up on eBay by a company called ‘goodie.direct’.

You can see the 80 listings by clicking here.

Pricing is very competitive compared to store prices so you are not necessarily overpaying for the British Airways association.

For example:

  • 24 piece crockery set for £42.50 (picture above) – click here
  • 8 x The White Company pillow cases for £18.95 – click here

If you are plannings kids birthday party ….

  • 10 x drawstring bags with colouring book and crayons for £19.95 – click here

With 80 different lots, and multiple quantities of most lots, you should find something to interest you. I wouldn’t hang about too long if you see something you like.

You can see the full set of listings on eBay here. Happy hunting.

EDIT: This is NOT showing on the main listing, but I like it – the Liberty First Class washbag (very pretty) plus a White Company Club World washbag plus some headphones for just £22.95.

  • Lady London says:

That picture on the article is a perfect fine dining dog dish.

    • Lady London says:

…the one that appears on the HfP main page…It is replaced by a different one on the actual article.

      • Rob says:

Realised after I’d done the article that I needed a 3:2 pic for the home page.

    • Hotelier says:

Was thinking exactly that when saw the picture!!

  • BJ says:

Haha, still cannot believe the interest this created last time!

  • MJB says:

    nice one Rob! Thank you.

  • Anna says:

Why are they selling this stuff off, again? Are they anticipating not having any pax in J and F in future?!

    • Rob says:

I can only imagine that the warehouse stocks are so huge that someone has worked out that it makes sense to free up space rather than wait 2-3 years to use it up at the current rate of use.

    • BJ says:

I imagine there is a high amount of wastage and they have a contract for regular supply. With the lack of flights wastage is down and a mountain is growing.

      • Andrew says:

Exactly this. Same with the First sale a few months ago. Airlines around the world are doing the same – most selling it to staff; SQ doing the dine at home thing where you get sent the food to reheat and the crockery (to keep).

  • J says:

There are also amenity kits and headphones which, for some reason, don’t show up on the link above.

  • Rob says:

This is better – lose the headphones and pay just £15.95 for a Liberty First Class washbag (which is lovely) and a White Company Club World one – https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/British-Airways-LIBERTY-of-London-The-White-Company-London-WashBag-Amenity-Kit/284191717940

    • ankomonkey says:

Already out of stock. Did you buy them all, Rob?

    • Pid says:

      Out of stock!

    • BlueThroughCrimp says:

Bought two when it was posted on Flyertalk. Was given a bonus third CW kit free.
      Great deal.

      • Tracey says:

CW black amenity kits used to go for about £5 each on eBay, maybe they qualify to be called ‘rare’ nowadays.

        • BlueThroughCrimp says:

There does seem to be quite a few still for sale, with the white ones commanding a premium.
The eye masks in the White Company CW kits, while not as good as the Liberty era F ones, are still a marked improvement from previous CW issues.
I’ve bought the kits mainly for the masks in the past, and stocked up with again with this tranche.

    • Andrew says:

Although those Liberty bags are quite a few years old now so the products inside might have seen better days. Although the bags are nice, much better than the Temperley ones now.

      • Lady London says:

I gave mine to my Mum from my only ever First Class flight 2 years ago. Managed to snaffle another one for my aunt as well. They are not matched by the Temperley ones.

      • CH says:

the Temperly bags are wonderful and the contents are amazing….

    • KK says:

i collect airline pens and this seems to be one good way to get hold of BA (first) pens! (Thanks to high YQ on BA I always managed to get alternatives)

  • John says:

Still holding out for some of the champagne glasses from First…

    • Andrew says:

The Dartington website sells the same shape ones just without the First logo etched on the base.

    • BlueThroughCrimp says:

CW Tumblers is what I’d like.

      • Louie says:

I wish Finnair would sell off some of their Ultima Thule glasses cheap….

  • Paul Collins says:

Reading this has just cost me £100 😂
