  Thanks for the eBay tip. I hadn’t even noticed it! Can I ask some advice please
  In 2020 I bought a Priority Pass Membership which obviously I have been unable to use. I got in touch with them and they are only prepared to extend it by 3 months up to 1st June! Any suggestions of I have a right to get my money back or anything at all? Thanks in advance!

    Unfortunately not. Collinson has played hardball here. They would argue that probably half the lounges in the programme are open – and indeed even in the UK there are open lounges, eg Plaza Premium in Heathrow.

      Do you think Collinson is making a commercial mistake by not offering at least reasonably generous extensions Rob?

      They have the data to know there have been probably no more than 10% of the usual lounge pass redemptions/lounge accesses under unlimited passes in total across all countries in the past year.

      In the UK in particular Priority Pass already wasn’t delivering in the past 2 or 3 years as lounge after empty lounge claimed they were full to Priority Pass guests and took other access methods in preference.

      Do you think Collinson know their Priority Pass product is no longer delivering and are just leaving it to die? because this is what no extension implies.

      Alongside the fact that Amex Plat holders were getting poor value from the PP and it wasn’t being fixed by Amex.

  eBay has worded this offer poorly or the reality doesn’t reflect the wording correctly – it’s 3x not 4x points you get. If you go through to the checkout page for a purchase from your basket on the app (just before you press the PayPal button to complete, so you can test without committing to buy) it will show how many nectar points you will earn at the bottom of the page. For a £17 purchase it shows 51 points.

    Yes, I noticed that when I did a transaction yesterday – chatted with Nectar CS just now – they readily agreed that the promotion was not doing what it says on the tin and added the extra points immediately

  I registered for two similar eBay offers in January, one for 10x and one for 6x. I made three qualifying purchases during the offer periods, and none of them got any Nectar points, base or bonus. Against each transaction it says “you committed to buy this item on an eBay site outside of eBay.co.uk, so the purchase does not qualify for Nectar points”. Not true, and on complaining (twice) to eBay, the agent agreed. Both times there were promises to raise the issue with the relevant IT department in the UK, but nothing has happened.

    Were the items priced in a different currency to GBP – even items on ebay.co.uk which are priced in a different currency are excluded.

  Yes, it seems to be 3x points total – but if that is a misleading promotion then I guess the article above is equally misleading when it says ‘Get 4x bonus points at eBay this week’, which could equally be construed as 5x total points?!
