Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

BBC reporting that English people might be allowed to travel to Scotland from April 26th. Possibly the plan is to claw in some leisure revenue prior to the later opening of English hotels and restaurants?

  English should be able to travel from April 12th but obviously can’t enter Wales or Scotland u til their rules allow.

In all seriousness, me and my partner are looking at buying a house together in his country of origin. I’m here in London. He is doing the initial viewings and then the idea is that I will look at any serious contenders that he finds. What paperwork would I need to satisfy the police at the airport? Just to be prepared etc.

Does anyone know if you are applicable for the current acount switch bonus with virgin if you have held regular savings (£250/month) with them before ( but not a current account) cant find it in terms
