        Tesco had it a few months ago. They are getting rarer but do come up. If you stack and get 20% it’s a decent buy though.

  Does anyone know if the TAX amount due on an Avios upgrade from premium economy to Club world, is equal to the difference between the taxes for a cash ticket (club world vs premium economy) or is the TAX calculated differently. I am wondering if I should use the ‘Book with cash, upgrade with avios’ option or manually upgrade after booking the cheapest premium economy cash fare.

  With the info on the number of SOU flights and reported lack of MAN flights from BA, I was searching out the seasonal BA flights from EDI.
  It looks like the PMI Saturday flight is being re-instated and that EDI to FLR will be going Friday, Saturday & Sunday during the summer. Very odd, or have I mid-read that?
  I know Italy is about to go into further lockdown on Monday, but hopefully by the summer things will be a lot better.
  And there appears to be a reasonable amount of Avios availability on the dates I checked.

  Looking at a flight to Singapore and return Hong Kong to London next January. Using an evoucher. No redemption opportunities & tiers not an issue for us. Out Premium & return Business. Price £1593 which seems reasonable. Views on if the price will come down if/when BA have a sale, or will they ramp up the prices as there will be more optimism (I hope) for travel in 2022.

    I think prices are likely to increase as travel confidence increases, I’d suggest looking on Google flights to see if you can spot any trends in prices going up/down by that does sound like a good price, not the best but for London not bad at all.

  A few days ago someone mentioned that they found the all4one gift card really restrictive to use so won’t recommend them for the Morrisons offer. Can I ask for a bit more details. It seems to cover a lot of the shops I do shop at so might be a good option for me. Thanks in advance.

    I use them for small purchases.
    I think that the problem arises when you have not got enough on the card to pay for the whole purchase amount as you can usually only use one card. Also check whether a particular merchant allows use online.

        Forgot to say you can also add them to Apple Pay and use via contactless in some stores like boots, just enter the card number and CVV in Apple Pay like any other card

          Also you can use them in John Lewis to buy JL/Waitrose gift cards!
          And you can register them on Airtime rewards to use on their retailers.

    The one4all cards are simply Visa cards which are only accepted at certain retailers. One of my kids got one a couple of years ago, we had it refused once at Waterstones but was fine apart from that. No easy way of emptying them out £0 since Amazon dropped out however.

      Use them in M&S. And you can part pay, so no probs emptying the card.

  Query re BA avios cancelled flight, booked 355 days in advance. In MMB I can rebook for dates beyond the 12 ticket validity (as others have reported) but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to which dates are available or not. The original booking is for Easter this year (booked April 2020). In MMB I can see dates into early March 2022. Playing around with dates it will allow me to book for eg 28 Feb 2022 (despite there being no award availability on the BA system), but sometimes won’t let me select another date where I can cross check that there is avios availability.

  Am just curious if there is any logic – or just BA IT.

  Ideally we want to re-book for Easter 2022 and so plan to wait it out (which means waiting until about two weeks after the original flight was supposed to go), and keep trying. Alternative is to get avios and fees/taxes back and get into the midnight/1am fight for the school holiday peak flights (again).

  Have been reading comments on here – seems hit and miss on the MMB, and probably impossible if you call BA direct due to the 12 month point, but would be interested to hear any other positive experiences. (Not a first class booking)

    As BA have cancelled on you, the availability issue doesn’t matter, you can re-book whether they have avios seats or not. The fact you can book past 365 days from the original date you booked is rare, technically allowed due to them cancelling, Ba just get funny about it. I would as you say, wait it out and see if you can re-book online for the dates you want. Can be 99% sure if you call and ask you’ll get a no.

    My experience of MMB is similar, can book dates past ticket validity. If you call normal executive club numbers to change dates they are quite rigid (6 attempts, 6 fails). You first were not rigid (1 attempt, 1 win).
    One thing that did happen to me, once that original outbound cancelled flight date passed, the ability to use MMB disappeared (forever). Was only left with the voucher option. I even tried to manipulate it by calling and changing the date pre May 17 which I knew would be cancelled. Android and iOS apps didn’t help either. That was all before finally succeeding of course.
