We are running this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

HGI Snowdonia appear to have pushed back their opening to 17th May. They have not yet cancelled my earlier bookings, but its no longer bookable online until then.

The property is in wales so the ambiguous English gov 17th May date is not directly applicable, but no doubt many guests would be travelling from England.

Yes, can’t do Manufacture Spend through Nation savings and investments anymore.

We need a new route. was good for my IHG points, wish I had Hilton Card too.

Also HSBC need more routes, post office didnt work

      I actually don’t think it was. But people will always think this. There’s an issue with the 3DS. If NSI has closed it, the error would present itself earlier in the transaction.
      But as I said, people will think what they want and are happy for them to learn about such things but not form others to. Human nature

Does spending over £12k on the HSBC Premiere World Elite credit card get you 40 000 points every year after the first year – so second, third and fourth years etc.?
