Is IHG Rewards Club launching milestone bonuses for 2021?

A few people have reported seeing ‘milestone bonuses’ popping up in the ‘My Offers’ section of their IHG Rewards Club account.

It appears to be based on Hilton’s milestone bonuses scheme:

Earn 10,000 bonus points for every 10 nights in 2021

Earn an additional 20,000 bonus points for achieving 40 nights in 2021

This is a decent deal IF it is incremental to other promotions. For completing 40 nights, you would receive 60,000 bonus points which I value at (0.4p each) £240. This is an additional £6 rebate per night.

This isn’t a bad deal on its own for people who stay in cheaper IHG brands such as Holiday Inn Express. If it stacks with other quarterly promotions, it could turn out to be very lucrative.
