The British Airways sale: Club World flights from £1,199 return

British Airways has just launched its latest sale. Until midnight on 2^nd February, BA is offering Club World tickets from £1,199.

There are some excellent deals to be had, with consistently low prices on some routes. You can book as far in advance as November 2021 on many of the routes.

Business class: Club World BA sale deals

New York is the cheapest long haul fare at £1,199, which is about the same as it’s been in previous sales.

You’ll find the best sale fares to the US west coast, with Seattle and Tampa cheaper than they’ve ever been since we started tracking sale prices:

Premium Economy: World Traveller Plus sale deals

Although we usually focus on Club World/Club Europe fares, we’ve listed a handful of World Traveller Plus fares below as there are a few to keep an eye on.

You’ll earn additional Avios with World Traveller Plus, and if you are chasing British Airways status then the extra tier points are an added benefit.  You can also upgrade your seat with Avios to Club World / Club Suite if availability opens up.

This HFP article lists all British Airways routes and the tier points they earn.  World Traveller Plus earns 90 tier points each-way compared with just 20 tier points each way for the cheapest World Traveller (economy) tickets.  One return flight puts you more than half-way to Bronze status.

BA Holidays Sale

If you fancy wrapping up your hotel stay and flights into a package, there are some decent savings to be made with BA Holidays.

You can often save hundreds by booking a package rather than a flight-only deal, particularly when it comes to business class flights. If you need a car or hotel, a flight + car or flight + hotel will also often be cheaper than booking them separately.

Changing and cancelling a flight or holiday

This year’s events have understandably made many people nervous about booking future travel. With no clear outlook on 2021 travel, it may feel risky to book a future flight or holiday. But on the other side, these are some of the lowest prices we have seen for BA Club World travel…

Changing your booking

You can change the dates and destination of your booking without incurring a change fee, although you will need to pay any difference in price.

This applies to bookings made from 3 March 2020 onwards for journeys that are due to have been completed by 31 August 2021.

Cancelling your booking

If you decide you no longer want to travel, you can cancel your booking and BA will give you a voucher to the same value for a future booking (as above, this applies to bookings made from 3 March 2020 onwards for journeys that are due to have been completed by 31 August 2021).

Changing your booking

You can change the dates and destination of your booking without incurring a change fee, although you will need to pay any difference in price.

This applies to new bookings made for journeys that are completed by 31 August 2021. You will need to give BA Holidays 3 weeks’ notice though for your changes to be processed.

Accommodation and flight standards

Accommodation partners have been asked to sign up to BA’s new Covid-19 minimum standards, created in line with World Health Organization guidance.

In the event that BA Holidays cannot fulfil your holiday package, you will receive a full refund within 14 days.

All BA Holidays are ATOL protected, for complete peace of mind.

Conclusion

There are some decent lead-in prices listed for the BA Sale, particularly in Club World and Club Europe.

As travel restrictions ease in 2021, the demand for travel is likely to be pretty high, and you should expect the airlines prices to increase in line with this.
