  Does anyone know of a way of using a Lloyds AVIOS upgrade voucher over the weekend whilst the phone AVIOS team are not available? Only two seats left, thanks

    BA can do these bookings but don’t seem to be willing these days. I don’t know if you can book your seats then get the voucher applied later.

      Thanks, yeah I was going to try and book the upgraded seats on AVIOS.com and hope they would refund the difference on Monday.

      The only issue is needing to cancel within 24 hours to get a full refund with no charge, but this isn’t possible as they are closed on Sunday

  In October BA ran a promo on using Avios. Does anyone have any idea when this may arise again? Just wondered if they run them regularly

    They occur on a fairly regular basis BUT are usually massively restricted (just economy, just during Tuesdays in January, just to Lagos etc). It takes a pandemic to make it all routes, all classes, all dates.

  Recent harrods amex offer of free gift, can anyone share the email that you need to email in to for the free gift? I have the harrods card but no mailing in the post, however might try my luck if the gift is worth it?

    There was the full T&C of the promo somewhere on Harrod’s website. It’s only the first xxx cardmembers that email in. No harm dropping Harrod’s an email to ask about it.

    Me too, though have my assets tied up in various speculative bookings!
    Are you not working? I retired in May but have gone so demented with being effectively in Tier 3 since the summer I am starting a new job in January 🤦🏻‍♀️. For me this is hitting rock bottom 😂

      I am working but have gone from multiple holidays/year to zero this year (apart from moving to Canada). I just want to go somewhere without any restrictions. And spend all these points 🙂

  Does anyone know how to redeem the Virgin voucher (from the mastercard)? I couldn’t find anything in the Virgin website except “You have qualified for a credit card reward voucher” in the activity log.

    Yeah I looked for my voucher and it isn’t at all obvious where it’s posted, from what I can tell is that the Amex BA vouchers are better at being more clear in your account
