British Airways has sent out a targetted offer to some Gold card holders that will let you earn a Gold Upgrade Voucher far more easily than usual.
Gold status is not the end of the road when it comes to BA Executive Club status. Whilst you can become Gold at 1,500 tier points, there are several more thresholds including (and exceeding) Gold Guest List at 5,000.

Several of these thresholds net you additional rewards in the form of ‘Gold Upgrades for One/Two’, including at 2,500 and 3,500 tier points. You can read more about Gold Upgrade Vouchers here.
It is not hard to imagine that nobody has been crossing those thresholds in recent months given how little long-haul flying has been happening.
To counteract this, British Airways has a launched a targetted offer that will let you earn Gold Upgrade Vouchers for far fewer tier points than normal:
- Earn 250 tier points between now and the end of March for a Gold Upgrade for One voucher
- Earn 500 tier points between now and the end of March for a Gold Upgrade for Two voucher
The offer is targetted and if eligible you should have received an email. You can also check if you are eligible for the promotion via this landing page on ba.com.
To be honest, though, even 500 tier points by the end of March could be a pretty tall order.
