From today, Loganair is moving its Isle of Man service from London City to London Heathrow. This will improve connectivity for the Manx who should now be able to access long haul connections more easily.

The flight departs the Isle of Man at 6:50am Monday to Thursday and 3:50pm Friday and Sunday. The return leg departs Heathrow at 8:50am Monday to Thursday and 5:35pm Friday and Sunday.
The flight is operated by an Embraer 145 jet which is something rarely seen at Heathrow.
Loganair has been waiting for slots to open up to launch this service. With business travel down and set to recover slower than leisure travel, moving the flight to Heathrow makes a lot of sense.
