We have decided to run this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

    But that’s the point of Hippo bags. You can place them in a small front garden with a wall, and it can still be collected. You wouldn’t be able to place a skip there and you’d probably need a road licence. Different products for different functions. Obviously you pay a premium for hippo bags.

    I use the audio digital edition mostly, and I think what’s on offer at libraries doesn’t include it. That said, by the looks of it, a digital only subscription is half off for this week.

  I have a160million limit and some historic transactions are recorded at inflated amounts as well, also 500GBP of cash back has suddenly appeared.

Having been furloughed for quite a while, back at work now though, I’ve built up quite a stash of e-Rewards points. I don’t want to risk getting banned, has anyone made large transfers to Avios?
