Over the last couple of days we have covered the British Airways lockdown flying schedule and the Virgin Atlantic lockdown schedule.

easyJet has said that is will operate only 20% of its normal Winter schedule for its Q1 period. Importantly, this forecast covers the period until the end of the year, pan-Europe, and not just the November lockdown period.

KLM has announced that flights to Amsterdam from Cardiff, Inverness, Teesside and Southampton will be suspended until at least February. With the impressive range of connections from Amsterdam, this represents a bigger blow to travellers in those regions than it may first appear. KLM retains a presence at 13 other UK airports.

The news will come as a blow to passengers of these four regional airports who rely heavily on KLM’s connections to the world via Amsterdam for both inbound and outbound traffic.

Jet2 has decided to shut completely. It will offer no flights from its English bases until 2nd December. Services are due to return on 3rd December.
