  Just realised Amex have changed a saved offer on my Gold Business card to make it worse!

  It is for Indeed.com and was a 100% credit every time it was used and I have screen shots to prove it. It now is only 100% back up to £50 maximum every time. Much less useful.

  There seems to be a lot of chat about Morrison offers.

  I would be interested to know if anyone is able to purchase a £100 gift card (with some additional other items to cover the purchase) get 10% off using the Blue Light card and the transaction track for 10% on Airtime. That would be a great way to earn £20 for every £100 spend. Not taking in to account miles or points on top.

    You don’t need to buy any groceries. Just the gift cards will be fine. You can’t get 10% off using the Blue Light card as the discount won’t apply to gift cards, but you would be able to get 10% off using Airtime Rewards, as they don’t know what you’ve purchased.

      Hi Connor. Airtime rewards state no gift cards so I assume they have no way of checking? Also Blue Light Card, no where does it state no gift cards? says T& C apply but no where can I see the terms in the app?

        It does indeed.

        Now, there may be some filtering put in place on the IT… But until the offer was pulled in March the 10% purchases of Gift Cards did indeed trigger Airtime.

        It also stacked with the then regular LBG and First Direct offers to give 20%.

        Yes, there is no way of them seeing what you have bought so gift cards work fine.

        The Blue Light discount won’t work as Morrisons tills are coded not to give a discount off them.

  Well I’ve been out twice today (school run as there’s no bus here), and spent most of the rest of the day at my desk from where I can see the main road, and there doesn’t appear to be any discernable reduction in traffic. Where is everyone going?!

    Eh? For most of us it is normal life today. Took the kids to school as usual, went to my usual cafe for breakfast (ate it outside though) and then went into the office, exercising my right to do so if being at home is not ‘convenient’ (which today it isn’t). LOADS of people in WeWork with me and Victoria is bustling.

        To stop people socialising in pubs, restaurants and going shopping for things that aren’t essential. Take all 3 of those things away and you lower the reason for people to leave home, that reduces interactions between people and therefore transmission.

        The one single biggest source of transmission is in households.

        So they want you to stop mixing inside and trying to make it “fair” and stop everyone complaining their certain business or pass time isn’t the cause so it’s close everything.

        As I said yesterday this is a blunt instrument because they wasted the summer messing around with EOHO rather than focusing on ways to keep it out of the vulnerable parts of society through more targeted actions and testing.

          But mixing inside in private is the most difficult area to enforce. It’said in our local health stats that 85% of cases are transmitted within households.

          But someone must be bringing it into households. Then, say, 4 others within the household get infected. Even if nobody else goes out.

          That’s close enough to your 85% infection rate in household right there. Someone went out and got it in the first place, adult or schoolchild, and it multiplied within the household from there.

          @LL it means happened within household settings. It’s usually someone you invited in or visited that has given it to your household.

          I think ac units are a low risk here in the uk but public transport is a real one.

          @Anna I completely agree, this “lockdown” will have limited effect. It’s farcical that you can’t meet some members of own family , yet you can visit a strangers home on a viewing to potentially buy a house.

    The search box at the top lets you search comments. Your initial search needs to be for whatever term you want, and when you get the results there is a box to filter it to just comments.
