  I`m unable to select seats for bookings for 2021 made with travel vouchers. Is there any way around this? Thank you.

    Do you have a ticket number attached to booking? If not, it is common when using FTV. You won’t be able to select the seat until ticket is issued and your ticket can be issued anything up to 24 hours before the flight. I imagine 2021 bookings are low priority for the ticketing dep.

    I Had the same problem with a flight from Phoenix Aug 21
    but using 241 (flying to Denver no problem booked our free seats)
    i rung 3 times got 3 different answers why could not book seats coming back (last answer was i’d have to wait for ticket issue which could be anytime) i emailed customer services pointing out that their t n c state can book seats when we book flights (we have free seat selection, cannot be discriminated against paying seat selection) i picked 3 seats told them them’s the seats we will be having regardless of someone paying for same seats lol
    worked a treat we was told there was a I T error fixed and we could now book return seats
    so i would advice e-mailing them a firm but polite letter stating that you want certain seats, under their t n c you can book now

  Anyone having revolutionary issues? This morning it will transfer and pay for groceries but not seagulls or the dark horse. Hope it’s not a permanent change!

        I kept getting the messages that either my account was frozen or my card locked (everything was unlocked), which freaked me out, but I assume if they’re allowing other transactions I’m not on the naughty step!

  FYI on the amex offer for spend £250 and get £60 back at IHG (cp indigo or voco)
  Just had it trigger after two separate one night transactions, one was £170 and the other & £200, so it’s on cumulative spend, hope that helps someone.

    Mine didn’t trigger after 3 stays, but they agreed to manually apply the credit, still waiting for it to post.

  I had to speak to Brighton about a disputed charge, whilst on I asked about the Harrods offer, I was informed it was for platinum card holders only? Seems at odds with some of the updates on here

  As a data point just cancelled my Business Plat and was offered nothing to stay. The agent did comment on my high spending which makes me a valued customer.

  Not complaining as I got a £150 retention offer the week before they offered the £250 retention offer and I got that too. So £400 of the fees back and some cracking offers like the Dell one.

  Thoughts on plane change (AMM) resulting in ‘downgrade’ from CW to CE. Any experience on options/how best to deal with this? Key is no flat bed anymore. Would they swap me over to RJ?

    Just took a full refund – they were not budging on moving to RJ (lloyds voucher). Voucher extended to year end. Told to call back early Dec to see if they would extend further. Not ideal but moving on

  Etihad has re-appeared on my Halifax offers. 10% funds return on spend of £300. Valid for next fortnight.

  Spar is also back on again at 10% for those who like a discount on their gift cards, council tax payments and electricity bills.

    I always get useless offers from Halifax. It is currently showing Scottish Power, British Gas & Land’s End offers, none of which is of any use to me!

      I don’t have have the British Gas one, but I have the other two along with 26 other offers.
