We are pleased to announce we have a winner for the amazing Malaysia Airlines competition we ran recently. The winner receive two Business Class flights to Malaysia along with a stay at the new luxury One&Only Desaru Coast resort.
Danielle F is our lucky winner. We are in contact with Danielle and she has already accepted the prize (probably not a tough decision) so I’m afraid if you also happen to be called Danielle F, it’s not you this time!

If entering the competition has tempted you to visit Malaysia when we are finally allowed to head off long haul, here is what you will find if you choose to stay at One&Only Desaru Coast.
As a brand new hotel, One&Only Desaru Coast is keen for worldwide travellers to experience their stunning hotel. I have it on good authority that once travel restrictions ease a little, One&Only Desaru Coast will be releasing some very attractive rates and offers.
Here’s a quick recap on some of the hotel’s highlights:
Food and drink
From refined Japanese cuisine to barbeque-inspired dining beach-side as well as locally-inspired Malaysian dishes, One&Only Desaru Coast has multiple dining options. We also like the sound of the Dusky Monkey bar, where you can try cocktails in an open-air bar, surrounded by sounds of the Malaysian rainforest.
Chenot Spa

One&Only Desaru Coast have teamed up with Chenot, who are a leading brand in the wellness industry. As well as plenty of opportunities for blissful massages and relaxation treatments, the team at Chenot Spa can provide tailored wellbeing programmes that include bespoke menus, fitness schedules and targeted spa treatments.
Club One

Club One is One&Only Desaru Coast’s activities hub, featuring tennis and basketball courts and a range of watersports including diving, stand-up paddleboarding, kite-surfing and jet-skiing. You can even try the local Malaysian martial art of Silat Melayu with a private lesson if you fancy some insight into local culture.
Golf

The Els Club, situated next to the resort, offers two championship-level golf courses: The Ocean Course, a 27-hole layout and The Valley Course, which offers a further 18 holes. Both courses are designed by Ernie Els in collaboration with Vijay Singh.
