We have decided to run this daily chat thread on Head for Points during the coronavirus outbreak.

Historically, the daily ‘Bits’ articles were the de facto repository for random comments and questions. With the news flow being lighter, we are running fewer ‘Bits’ articles.

The comments under this article are where you should post questions about travel and, indeed, anything else on your mind. At this tricky time, and given that many of you are at home, we want the HfP community to have a place to chat.

Please only comment under the main articles on the site if your comment is directly related to the topic of the article. This has long-term benefits as it keeps the commentary relevant for people who read those articles in the future.

Sorry guys one more quick question, i guess it will take a few days as well to get the tracker visible on the BAPP card before i hit my 10K spend, is it advisable to wait till the card comes and then spend to hit the target or shall i take the initiative and spend anyway?, i can only see in my amex account that the card has changed (alongside the card number) from blue to black.

  I just moved my card back from blue to BAPP and it’s as soon as the card in the mobile app changes colour from blue to black then it’s ready and will count towards the 10k spend. I can’t find the companion voucher spend tracker in the app, but when you log in online and scroll right to the bottom it appears there. Hope that helps

    Just seen your previous comments regarding the offers disappearing. I never noticed that on mine but have never used them before anyway, complete novice as I never knew they were there!
    My problem I posted a few pages ago is that I’ve spent the 10k to trigger the voucher, but the last transaction says ‘pending’ and I’m worried I will not receive the voucher if it doesn’t complete before my end of year date today.

Wee Nicky tells Scots not to travel to Blackpool as some of them have caught Covid there. I suspect that’s more down to what they did in Blackpool rather than simply the destination they visited!

I see Priority Pass has dropped No1 lounges. This is a real pity, I use No1 lounges quite a bit and they are generally decent. (Although it’s been so long since I flew, I’m not sure I actually have a valid PP at the moment!)
