Last day for double Virgin Points on flight bookings

  I’ve got Diamond Select status (highest status you can get at BW) yet received absolutely no recognition for any of my stays this year, home or abroad, before or during pandemic. I always book direct.
  On checking out of the Sheffield (ex Hilton) hotel I was even asked if I want to join their loyalty club! Only then did she notice my status on the system, to which she then gave me the welcome gift of 500 useless points but no apology or explanation as to why status members don’t get recognised.

  Never had a room upgrade at BW. I really do not value their loyalty program at all. Marriott and Hilton are far better.

    Does Best Western let you match to Caesars Rewards? I think that’s how I got free status match for my Vegas stay which was very useful (decent upgrade, free valet parking, queue jump at restaurants & no $40/day resort fee). Can’t think of anything else good about Best Western!

    +1. Have stayed twice with status. The first time was quite good. The second time, in the same hotel about a year later, involved me having to remind them re the welcome gift then precious little else.

  Rob, it seems like the Virgin Atlantic Double Points offer has been extended to 15 October according to the home page banner, but not updated in the Terms Apply page. Do you have confirmation or update from VS?

      Interesting! There was also a supplementary points bonus for Virgin Atlantic credit card holders (quadruple points) – any insight on whether that’s been extended to 15 October too?
