Qatar Airways has announced that it is resuming flights to London Gatwick from next week.
This will take Qatar Airways up to 45 UK departures per week, comprising:
- Edinburgh (three weekly flights)
- London Gatwick (daily flights)
- London Heathrow (three daily flights)
- Manchester (two daily flights)
Qatar Airways Cargo is also currently operating eight freighters per week to London Heathrow and London Stansted.
The Gatwick flights will operated with a Boeing 787, with a relatively modest 22 seat Business Class cabin. Flights will depart from the North Terminal as the South Terminal will remain closed for the immediate future.
The current list of destinations served by Qatar Airways can be found on this page of their website. The airline is your best, and in many case only, bet for many long haul routes at the moment.
