Avis offering long-term UK car rentals – with 2,500 Avios on top

Avis, unsurprisingly, has a lot of cars sitting unused on its lots at the moment.

To get some of these vehicles back into use, it is currently offering long-term (multi week) rentals.

If you book an Avis long-term rental before 30th September, for rentals up to 31st December 2020, you will collect AT LEAST 2,500 Avios when you include your British Airways Executive Club membership number in the booking.

In reality you will earn more.  You earn at the standard rate – 3 Avios per £1 spent, minimum 500 Avios – plus 2,000 bonus Avios on top.  A one-month rental will cost at least £500, for example, so you’re looking at 3,500 Avios.

For rentals booked by the end of July, for collection by the end of July, it is offering Group A and Group B cars from £109 per week.  Note that cars must remain within the UK.
