Shangri-La launches ‘double points’ promotion – no stay required

Shangri-La Hotels, which includes the Traders, Kerry and JEN brands, is launching a new double points promotion today.

Once registered, you will receive double Golden Circle points on all stays until 31st August.

Golden Circle points can be used for restaurant or bar credit, or for free stays.  Whilst you can also convert points into airline miles, Shangri-La has dropped its partnership with British Airways and has never had one with Virgin Atlantic.

Perhaps more relevant for UK readers is that the promotion is also valid on restaurant and bar spend without a stay.  If you are popping into the Shangri-La hotel in The Shard in London for a meal or drink once it re-opens in August, you can also earn double points.

(Here’s a tip. Instead of paying for ‘View from the Shard’ tickets when it re-opens, just take the lift up to the Shangri-La’s large lobby.  Even the gents loos in the lobby have amazing views over London.)
