Virgin Flying Club has fixed its website ….

The Virgin Flying Club website has been down for over a week now. The system has been totally down – even the call centre agents couldn’t access accounts or process redemptions.
I spoke to the Flying Club team over the weekend and they confirmed that it was nothing more sinister than a very messy IT failure. We now have the first signs of life.
The Virgin Atlantic app is also working. Here is my wife’s account, showing correctly:
AwardWallet is also able to access your account details again if you are signed up to that service.
(AwardWallet is the only miles and points tool that I use every day – and have done for a number of years. AwardWallet allows you to store the log-in and password details for pretty much all of the loyalty programmes you are in, travel or not. You can log in to AwardWallet and it goes off and updates all of your ‘active’ balances immediately. If you are not already a member of AwardWallet, you can sign up for free here.)
So ….. it looks like everything is returning to normal at Virgin Flying Club. Conspiracy theorists will need to go back to discussing the moon landings or who killed JFK …….
