What British Airways long-haul flights are scheduled for June?

If you think that there are no British Airways long-haul flights currently running, think again.  On paper at least, the airline is planning a schedule for June.

Even if you have no intention of travelling – or if the country won’t let you in! – the flights may well operate for cargo purposes or to bring travellers back home.  As we covered in our article today on IAG’s Quarter 1 results, British Airways is currently breaking even on its flying programme due to the large amount of cargo being carried.

The list below was published by Routes Online on Thursday afternoon.  We have checked it and it appears to be accurate.

This list is clearly hugely speculative – although the flights ARE bookable on ba.com

    LHR-LBA cancelled all month!

  • Tom says:

    Which, not what!

  • Asim says:

Roughly when will BA cancel it’s July flights? Have 7x CW LHR-JED flights booked for 8th July. They’ve cancelled all until 30th June. Waiting for them to cancel July, to claim cash refund.
Booked these in WTP and then upgraded with Avios so don’t want to take back in vouchers.

  • Adam says:

When will BA decide to extend status for all for another year.

    • Rob says:

Perhaps it won’t. If lounges need to be a lot quieter, letting status cards expire would do the trick ….

  • Dan says:

Given what you have said about BA allowing cancelled flights booked with Avios to be rebooked on any flight (even with no Avios availability), do you think there’s potentially an attractive option to book one of these June flights in the hope it is cancelled and then having a clear choice in the future to select when you want to go (that might not currently have Reward seat availability)? In theory, the risk would only be the £35 cancellation fee if at -24hrs the flight was still planned to operate?

  • Chandra Simhadri says:

I have booked a return flight in Feb for a June 30th from London Heathrow and returning on July 21st 2020 to Hyderabad in India.
What are my chances of flying out?
