To earn the bonus, you’ll need to sign up to Privilege Club before 28th February using the code EUR2019 and book a business class Qatar Airways flight before 31st March. You will earn up to 8,000 bonus Qmiles on top of whatever base miles you would receive.

Even flying Economy will earn you a decent bonus in this promotion – up to 4,000 Qmiles – although your exact bonus will be dependent on a combination of the booking date, flight date, cabin and fare.

What’s great is that you can use this offer more than once. This makes the offer especially attractive for business travellers who may be able to squeeze in multiple trips between now and the end of March.

There are a few crucial terms and conditions to be aware of:

New members only
Members who did not quote the promotional code EUR2019 at the time of enrolment will not receive bonus Qmiles.
To be eligible for this offer, Members need to ensure to quote their Privilege Club number at the time of booking or check-in.
Travel on Award tickets is not eligible for Bonus Qmiles.
Tier bonus, Family Accrued Qmiles and Other Promotional bonus will not be considered for the calculation of bonus Qmiles.
Offer is not applicable for tickets booked prior to booking period start date and after the booking period end date.

Any insights into why anyone would want to join Privilege Club? I certainly can’t think of a reason, having abandoned this sorry excuse for a FFP when they eviscerated the benefits a couple of years ago.

Now, like everyone else I read about, I still love flying on QR but credit my flights elsewhere.

  No harm in joining, but credit elsewhere. What most of us on here have been doing. We used to be with qr privilege club, but cs were just not up to it. Think they may have been trained up better in recent years, but were v poor a few years ago. We jumped ship to baec in 2012. Funny enough, just as we discovered Head fo Points. Amazing coincidence, that!

      The point is that having even a lowest-level no-miles membership number for that airline or alliance can, just occasionally, mean some benefit or not being the one picked for offoad etc.
      
      Hotels can be similar. Cars sometimes too.
      
      Otherwise what would be the point if being, say. BA Blue?

        my wife has the happy knack of getting upgraded HBO—>Club Europe, why? Blue,/ flies BA 8-10 times a year with FF number input, always/ safe middle-aged female flying single on her booking (the other 4 of us are on the 4x RFS tickets)

        Although if crediting elsewhere your bookings will be associated with the partner scheme, anyway. If you also have status in that partner scheme it’s presumably going to count for rather more…. Would they take any notice of the fact that you’re a member of both, or even know when making those kinds of decisions?

        If you’re not going to credit flights to it, it’s not going to be on your booking – so are they even going to know you’re a member? (Not that I really buy the notion it gives you any priority for anything at all)

the headline should be “Earn 8,000 Qmiles when you *book* a Qsuite” !
and if you fly economy earn something between 1 and 4,000 depending on how much we like you.
