  Near to home mattress run to get 60 nights with Hilton. Doubletree Glasgow lounge tonight having ludicrous amounts of gin and tonic before Edinburgh Carlton tomorrow. Off to Dusseldorf on Friday. 2 nights at the IC and 2 nights at the Hilton before back for Hogmanay.

  Happy Christmas everyone. Thank you HFP and everyone for all their advice and tips. We’ve just flown in from Hurghada on Squeezy Jet – crew were excellent. Only 2 weeks and we fly to S Africa with 2-4-1 thanks to AMEX/HFP info. Then onwards to Australia. Couldn’t do most of our travel without what I’ve learned through HFP, so thank you everyone 🙂

  Merry Christmas from sunny Manchester. We’re just back from 9 nights in Barbados – flights and hotel on points. Stayed at the Courtyard which we thought was perfectly decent for a cat 4. Reward flights are already booked for a Canada/Mexico honeymoon double header in summer 2020. Thanks to Rob and team and everyone below the line for your useful advice.

  And a last hurrah for HFP from the rooftop bar of the Melia Iguazu, wine in hand watching sunset. Hotel infinitely better than our previous visit seven years ago when it was a very tired Sheraton. A definite recommend, especially as upgraded to a falls view room courtesy of melia gold via Amex plat
