  Merry Christmas to you all from Orlando. Spending the day with Mickey and friends. Booked flights earlier in the year using 2 x AMEX platinum £200 off £600 offer. Hertz gave me a lovely Cadillac XT5 after booking a smaller premium SUV via Hertz Australia and with my presidents status.

  Merry Christmas to one and all. Haven’t contributed much recently to the comments but thanks still for all the tips. We are in snowy Finnish lapland in Yllas. Not on points but still have used some of the DIY tips from Rob’s trip to Swedish lapland!

  Just landed back after spending 2 days in Shanghai. The Virgin Upper Class meal I had on the outbound was the best business class airline meal I’ve ever had.

  Merry Christmas from the Bay Area. Back to the UK tomorrow to introduce our nine month old daughter to her extended family. The flight will also tip our 2year old to silver.

  Happy Christmas to all the HfP team…..this year we did our first real tier point run from Jersey to Portland , OR, including an outward leg on BA001 to JFK. Would have never done this without the info and advice from this site. Off to Oz ex EU from Vienna in February using our BA GUF , upgraded from PE to CW and less than £1200 each, booked via Propeller. Again, all thanks to following HfP.

  Happy Christmas to you all from the very un-Christmassy setting ofInverness. Barely a flake of snow on Ben Wyvis. Travels this year to SIN, convoluted USA trip with son , F 241 to IAD/ATL, several London trips, BA compensation following CEDR for pilot strike knock on effect. Hitting BAEC Gold (it’ll never happen again) and planned 241 midnight booking in the bag for South America next year, not forgetting all our hotel points bookings.
  What would we do without HFPs? Grateful thanks to Rob and his team
